It’s a Rainy Day on the Cosmic Shore is a project that was born from my passion for editorial design and interest in one of my favourite artists, Ana Roxanne (@frincess). It’s a book about Roxanne, her music and biography. The design of It’s a Rainy Day on the Cosmic Shore is calm and minimalistic. It’s visually inspired by the artist’s music. Ana Roxanne is an experimental and ambient musician, combining very calming, cosmic and celestial sounds. Her angelic voice really takes you to a complete different universe. Having seen Ana live, in the Cathedral of Viseu (Portugal), I can firmly say she’s an angel on earth. Ana is a unique artist with an interspatial vision of music. Exploring her pure, delicate voice with guitar strings and whispers, she creates an immersive sanctuarylike soundscape full of magical textures that make your body shiver, very likely giving you goosebumps and teary eyes.
